Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. 12mo. (18 cm.) unpaged [24p.]. Stapled booklet in yellow wrappers printed in black and with a vignette in black on the front cover of a "picture" of Clem. Just hints of wear to extremities, wrappers ever so lightly soiled, handwritten price on upper left corner of front wrapper, corne…rs square and flat, just hints of rust on the staples, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. Humorous tales of Clem's life near the Smoky Mountains told in the local dialect, e.g., "My name is Marthie, but most folks up hear in Townsend calls me Cuzin Marthie, fer I'm akin to purt nigh everybody in this cove. We live rat chere along side the big road that goes into the Smoky Mountains. This chere is writ mostly about Clem - he's a cuzin of mine on my pappy's side."
