Auch Tchemerzine (IV, 197) schreibt sie Crébillon le Fils zu. Sie sind somit wohl frei erfunden. In französischer Sprache. Das obere Rückenende mit 2cm Einriss, zwei Ziffern auf dem vorderen Einbanddeckel, der Rücken, die Einbandkanten und -ecken beschabt. Stempel auf dem Titelblatt, die Vorsatzblätter in den Ecken braunfleckig. Insgesamt aber durchaus noch ordentliches Exemplar Sprache: Französisch Gewicht in Gramm: 183 Halbleder der Zeit, 10x16cm, Zustand: 3-.

In-12 relié demi-veau marron de l'époque, dos à cinq nerfs, pièce de titre. 2 feuillets blancs, titre en rouge et noir, vi + 1 feuillet non chiffré, 352 pages, 2 feuillets blancs. Sous-titre : pour servir de suite au traité intitulé l'Ami des Hommes du même auteu .Tache d'humidité en fin d'ouvrage sans gravité. Mirabeau fut emprisonné à la suite de la publication de cet ouvrage dans lequel il critique sévèrement la fiscalité en vigueur et attaque les Fermiers Généraux. Bon exemplaire.

Couverture rigide. Zustand: Bon. 4 vol. in 12. pl. veau blond époque, dos lisse orné, bel exemplaire. Un des plus abondants auteurs de la comédie du XVIIIe siècle, il fut protégé par le Régent. Attaché à l'ambassade de Dubois à Londres, il devint ministre plénipotentiaire, et faillit être ministre des Affaires étrangères. Auteur de la Fausse Agnès, le Dissipateur, le Philosophe hardi, qui occupent un rang élevé dans le théâtre du XVIIIe siècle. Destouches ne publia son chef-d'oeuvre "Le Glorieux", toujours au répertoire, qu'après son admission à l'Académie française. Quérard Fr. litt. II. 537.
