Also, two mechanisms, so called LEACH2.1 and LEACH2.2, which are considered enhanced versions of LEACH routing protocol, have been proposed for clustered sensor networks. The proposed mechanisms introduce significant solutions to some limitations of the original LEACH to increase the efficiency of the energy balance. Such mechanisms propose a new energy balance level to prolong the overall network lifetime. In this work, NS2 simulator [53] is integrated with different mobility models such as RPGM, Manhattan and Random Way to compare between the original LEACH and Directed Diffusion and the proposed mechanisms. The simulation results show that the performance of LEACH is better than Diffusion in RPGM and staic mobility model. Also, the performance of Directed Diffusion is better than LEACH in Random way and Manhattan mobility models. In addition, the performance of our solutions is better than the original LEACH in terms of the average energy consumed.…

Many writers have adopted it in their literary products where they modified the original story in agreement with certain considerations and aims. This book explores the use of the Faustian bargain in Charles Robert Maturin's Melmoth the Wanderer and Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. It tries to show three main ideas: (1) the change Maturin and Wilde have made in the legend, (2) how they have used it in their novels to discuss realistic issues, personal and universal, which are different from those in the traditional story, and (3) the spread of the Faust motif in the Irish novel of the 19th century. Neuware - The idea of a divided Spain, where one half is antagonistic to the other half, dates back at least to the 19th-century Spanish satirist Mariano José de Larra who, in his essay All Souls Day 1836, wrote Here lies half of Spain. It died of the other half. The narrative of las dos Españas is evident across many political and historical debates operating in the Spanish state, and contemporarily it shadows and informs national issues from Catalan independence to the teaching of history in schools. But it is most polemical in debates concerning the issue of terror in all its manifestations. Las dos Españas takes a multidisciplinary approach in understanding narratives of terror in contemporary Spain, in an attempt to contextualise terrorism socially and politically, as well as ideologically. Selective case studies of terror related events in the Spanish state will include the long-running Basque conflict, the state-sponsored death squad (GAL) scandal in the 1980s, the March 2004 terrorist attacks in Madrid, and other terror episodes. The author argues that these terror-related events can be re-read in terms of traces and links to long-standing historical narratives. However, since the onset of the global economic crisis in 2009, and its devastating effect on Spanish society, narratives of economic crisis have begun to supersede narratives of terror in the construction of the two Spains. The conclusion drawn is that the narrative of las dos Españas still has the power to continue to divide Spain ideologically in political discourse. Terror and crisis narratives are intertwined with the narrative of las dos Españas to provide a coherent argument that allows one to better understand the subversive nature of contemporary Spanish politics. Neuware - Despite a common heritage dating back centuries and mutual national interests, such as their joint fear of Soviet influence across the Mediterranean, it took 38 years after the establishment of the State of Israel (1948) and a decade after Francos death (1975) for relations to be established between Jerusalem and Madrid (1986). The absence of ties between both countries prior to 1986 was an anomaly that requires explanation. There was no apparent reason why both countries should not have established full diplomatic ties prior. Indeed, during the first years of Israeli statehood until 1952, Spain sought unsuccessfully to establish official ties with Israel as a means to overcome international isolation. But adhering to a moral foreign policy standard, Israel refused formal ties with the former Axis supporter. By 1953, however, Israel began adopting a more pragmatic view. Five centuries after the expulsion of the Jews from Spain bilateral ties were formalised after Spains successful transition from Francos dictatorship to democracy and Madrids ascension to the EEC in 1986. Once in the Community, Madrid had to align its foreign policy with Brussels which necessitated diplomatic relations with Israel. Without this systematic pressure on Madrid, the anomaly of Israeli-Spanish relations would have likely continued. Post 1986 the ties between the two countries were overshadowed by strong international political forces -- the Arab-Israeli conflict and the Israeli-Palestinian struggle -- which delayed bilateral progress. Explaining the impact of these forces is key to understanding the relationship. Although many positive milestones have been reached there are substantive issues of concern for both sides, and a feeling that much work remains if the relationship, and indeed friendship, is to become worthy and rewarding. …
