Tightly bound in ornate blind-stamped blue cloth. The contents include a very good five-panel, color foldout timeline titled "A Chart of History to accompany the "World's Progress". Rubbing to the covers and splitting to the paper of the inner hinges. The pages show age-toning but are generally unmarked. The front endpaper is lacking and the endpapers show remnants of pasted pieces of paper, writing and scuffs. A good copy only. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership.
