Cloth is a little worn and marked, lightly pushed at ends of a lightly sunned spine. Scuff at base of front hinge and some faint and occasional spotting on first and last few leaves else internally neat, clean and tight. A near contemporary account and analysis of Edward VIII, later the Duke of Windsor, and the abdication crisis of 1936.

Biography of King Edward VIII, set against the backdrop of world events, which aroused controversy at the time of its publication in 1938 as the Duke's solicitors issued a statement that he would not approve the contents of any biography. 584pp. Some bumping to spine and corners, left hinge starting to pull and former owner's name to pastedown, otherwise good ready copy. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.

Still a nice copy.
