Typescript for a radio broadcast for the Home Service transmitted on Wednesday 16th May, 1951 from 10.30 - 11.00 p.m. Rehearsal from 3.15 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The cast were as follows: Jack Livesey=Tommy, Diane Langford=Margaret, Selma Vaz Dias=Margaret's mother and Julian Orde=Jayne. Presentation copy: 'With love from Joyce.' Names of characters written in Rowe's hand. In 'I Know My Way' the four characters recall earlier events in their lives and finally accept Margaret's choice to become a nun. Joyce Rowe was a publicity officer with the BBC. She married D. G. Bridson (1910 Ð 1980) who was a writer, producer and narrator at the BBC for thirty-five years, creating 'some of the finest programmes in the history of radio.' He retired in 1969. One crossing out in the text. Final page slightly torn and foxed. Very good. Signedes.

Vintage borderless photograph of actor Edward G. Robinson on his way to the inauguration of President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941, carrying a scroll with wishes of goodwill and luck, signed by his fellow Warner Brothers stars, including Bette Davis, James Cagney, and others. Printed mimeo snipe affixed to the verso, along with a date stamp and the stamp of Acme News Pictures. An outspoken Democrat, Robinson contributed to many of Roosevelt's cultural diplomacy initiatives in the 1940s, and was a vocal campaigner for Roosevelt's re-election in 1944. 6.75 x 8.25 inches.
