Parrish (1870-1966) was a household name during the opening decades of the 20th Century, with his commercial artwork gracing showrooms and advertising pages across the world. Guerin (1866-1946), a friend of Parrish's, was able to secure himself as an illustrator for The Century Magazine and Scribner's. Guerin's designs reveal Parrish's influence on him as a colorist. The two artists shared interests in exotic locales and allegorical subject matter.** "Postage for oversized and international shipping will be calculated by size and weight.
