Bindings just a little rubbed and scratched, spines sunned. Ownership inscription of John Stewart to flyleaf of vol. 1 dated May [18]52. An attractive set of engravings by father and son team James and Henry Storer, which is preceded in the first volume by a substantial history of the city of Edinburgh.
