Important and very detailed records of Luftwaffe Unit statistics, covering Losses, aircraft on strength etc. Reproduced for Alfred Price (the late aviation historian and author), from the Bundersarchiv, Germany. These file copies, mainly in very clear condition, were obtained some 40 years ago and retained by Alfred until his death. The records cover 1942, 1943 & 1944 and appear to cover every Luftwaffe unit on all fronts and the stack of documents is c. 7cms high! Much of the information is in visually impressive charts, mostly folding and are noted as "Geheime Kommandosache!" While these are copies, obtaining this kind of information from the Bundersarchiv is both difficult and expensive and Alfred Price's status as an internationally recognized aviation historian gave him special access. Contained in a large Agfa Gevaert box the documents are in very good condition with dates on the sections and description on the box in Alfred Price's hand. Heavy item.
