The Web was founded by Alan Chow in 1990, as a venue for the Asian American gay community. As a recent exhibition on The Web notes, it "was at the heart of New York's Asian gay community, providing a refuge for people who often faced prejudice and exclusion within the mainstream gay scene." (see Dazed website). It was especially noted for its go-go dancers, both male and female. It closed in 2013. GOOD condition. Several creases and some wrinkles to the piece.
