Both covers are loose and have been secured at the inner hinge with acid-resistant film pad. The leather is scuffed, front cover has scratches. Contains approximately 300 pages, of which 74 contain approximately 65 recipes (some double-sided), written in ink in a rather idiosyncratic handwriting. Fifteen pages at the back of the book contain notes (names, prices, etc., presumably butter sales? - see notes and photos). The endpapers and first pages are written on the front and back in pencil with names and some London addresses. The outside is in fair condition, the inside is still in good condition. --- Originaler Lederband mit intakter Messing-Schließe (abschließbar, aber der Schlüssel fehlend) sowie bunt marmorierten Schnitten. Beide Deckel sind lose und wurden im Innengelenk mit säurehaltigem Filmpolast befestigt. Das Leder ist beschabt, Vorderdeckel mit Kratzspuren. Enthalten sind etwa 300 Blatt , davon sind 74 Blatt mit etwa 65 Rezepten (teils zweiseitig), mit Tinte in recht eigenwilliger Handschrift ausgefüllt.
