Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some mild marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor chipping and creasing. Some tanning and foxing to all surfaces, particularly to spine.

In overall very good used condition in a good dust jacket with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dust jacket tanned and rubbed to spine and edges with chip to spine head (now protected); boards clean and crisp. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; light tanning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Photographs available. Not an old library book.

Blue cloth with yellow title to spine and vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations. The hero of this book is a London River tug-boat. Her adventures in peace and war form the stories, some tragic and some humorous, but always full of the spirit of that waterway which is half river and half sea. Browning to endpapers. Some foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge=creased and browned, with a few tiny nicks to corners. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
