In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Used; Good. An outstanding edition of Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels with a beautiful board and dust-jacket design! Gulliver's Travels remains as enchanting as when it was first written over two hundred years ago, in 1726. No other English adventure story has survived so long, and after reading a few pages it is not difficult to understand why. It is a great story of excitement and fantasy. Gulliver, an English seaman, is wrecked on two different islands, Lilliput and Brobdingnag. He finds himself a giant among men six inches high on one island, and a dwarf among men sixty feet high on the other. This edition has stunning coloured illustrations by Janet and Anne Johnstone and would be the perfect addition to your reading list!
