Light rubbing to boards, front joints starting at head, moderate wear to spine ends and corners, front hinge cracked, owner signature (Arthur Leets, dated 1810) to front free endpaper, library stamps to front pastedown, half-title and title page, which is lightly soiled. Moderate toning to interior, light foxing to a few leaves. $650. * Second edition. Written for the benefit of "the junior Part of the Profession," Wilmot's book offers a review of the law and a collection of model precedents. The chapters of the "succinct view" are clearly written and arranged topically. Its definitions are illustrated with leading cases. This appears to have been a well-received book.
