Stevens also appeared in a number of Hollywood movies including "The Chocolate Soldier" with Nelson Eddy and "Going My Way" with Bing Crosby. Her most famous operatic role was in "Carmen" and her 1951 RCA recording of the entire work has retained its popularity and availability until the present.
