Stoddard." Tenth volume of Stoddard's lectures, focusing on Southern California, the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River, and Yellowstone National Park. Stoddard (1850-1931) was an innovative explorer who began traveling and writing about the world in 1874 and pioneered the field of travel lecturing; his books include the oft-reprinted multi-volume "John L. Stoddard's Lectures.".
