Directly across the river in yellow is Mittineague (now spelled with a g not a q). Mittineague was first settled in 1739. Several industrial sites are located along the Weld River. West Springfield is the larger area between Mittineague and the Connecticut River and lies at the confluence of the Weld River and the Connecticut River. ----CONDITION: Margins toned; small repair at centerfold with no loss.
