At Jacks head theres a few but these appear more like scratches and not stains so i believe this is small scratch-marks. There a small moisture-stain on spine of jacket. But overall superb example. The first state jacket has the original price 8.95. Hard to find in such a good jacket as this. The book is in excellent condition but has some outwardly foxing looking from the outside of pages. Also some foxing on inner-side of back-board.

Has some small rubbing to gilt lettering(most prominent at doubleday where last letter is mostly rubbed off. Has a 2" tear to cloth at top of spine and smaller tears at corners. The jacket is in ok condition but has been restored with tape on inner-part. Has 8 tape restorations inside. It retains the original price of 8.95 and is the true first state jacket. The jacket has most loss on back by spine as seen in pictures. The book is fresh inside and has the first edition printed on title-page.
