A new edition of this classic text first printed in 1670 as The Shepherd's Legacy, containing all the wise aphorisms about weather, frequently given in rhyming form. Thus: "If red the Sun begins his Race, Be sure that Rain will fall apace" etc. In addition, Claridge has culled a good deal of folk wisdom about the weather and included it in this new version of an old favorite.
