Spine has heavy surface wear with titling to label not visible, if it was present before; splitting to both joints with front board only being held on by sewing guides. Boards have bumping to fore corners, shelfwear to edges, a few stains, and rubbing and scuffing throughout. Text block is age-toned, has splitting to hinges, adhesive toning to edges of pastedowns and free endpapers opposite, names of three previous owners in ink, creasing to many pages, and light scuffing throughout. A very good copy, in old contemporary full leather binding which is considerable scraped and worn, but which contains the original spine label and which is solid and tight.
