First edition with the Harry Clarke illustrations. Frontispiece, and ten full plate illustrations, with additional vignettes running throughout. Large 8vo. Original purple cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, front cover centrally stamped in gilt with one of Harry Clarke's designs, dust jacket. London, Bodley Head. A very good copy, the dust jacket with some light wear, a few small tears, and chips to the head of the spine panel. The front board and spine a little age toned. Ownership signature to front fly leaf, and top corner creased on that page. Very light spotting along the top edge, and occasionally to the text block. .
