One volume of a set of 13 Thangkas purchased by the Hedin expedition in Peking and said to be coming from Jehol, showing the Dalai Lamas. The other volume on an album with Thangkas of the Panchen Lama incarnations from the collection of Werner Schulemann, who also granted access to a set of 10 Thangkas from Narthang depicting the Panchen Lamas. With an appendix by Gösta Montell: Sven Hedin and the Panchen Lama. Nice set in the beautiful original cloth bindings, much rarer than the softcover edition. Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 1500.
