Das prominenteste Beispiel aus dem Feld internationaler Frameworks ist die UN-Resolution… 1820, die im Jahr 2008 als Folgeresolution der Frauen, Frieden und Sicherheit-Agenda (WPS) sexualisierte Gewalt als Kriegswaffe benannte und sie so in das Mandat des Sicherheitsrats der Vereinten Nationen inkludierte. Diese Arbeit wendet das Konzept der generativen Metapher von Donald A. Schön auf das WPS-Framework an, (1) um zu zeigen, inwiefern die generative Metapher von UNSCR 1820 eine unzulängliche 'Problemgeschichte' zur Erreichung ihrer Ziele darstellt, sowohl für die unmittelbare Bearbeitung von sexualisierter Gewalt wie auch für die langfristigere Vision der WPS-Agenda; und (2) um mithilfe einer feministisch-narrativen Methodologie eine alternative generative Metapher vorzuschlagen, ihre Tragfähigkeit zu testen und ihre möglichen Auswirkungen zu diskutieren: die Metapher von sexuellem Trauma als persönlichem Kriegszustand.
