With some 120 colour plates as well as lithographs of other works, including works from his time as an Official War Artist for the British military. With contributions from Barry and Sariah Viney, Christopher Whittick and Simon Lawrence, and a foreword by Brian Sewell. A small marking to the top edge and to the bottom corner. Edited by Ravilious's daughter, Anne Ullmann. With all of Ravilious's 110 wartime watercolors (including ships, planes, and coastal defenses) that he executed as an Official War Artist. Also included are texts of much of his correspondence from the last three years of his life. One of 750 copies. A fine and fresh copy.
