Covers a little spotted, else VG in uncommon but poor loosely inserted d.j. (split in two down spine section, which lacks the bottom quarter and with old and obtrusive tape repairs). Extensively illustrated with 98 illustrations on 63 plates, and with the large folding coloured plan of the medieval monuments in untorn and decen condition.

Vient ensuite un glossaire des termes arabes (pp 91-93), une table des matières (p94), une liste des illustrations (pp.96-99, soit 63 planches), un index des noms propres (pp. 100-104) et enfin les 63 planches, des reproductions de photos prises à cette époque, et enfin un plan dépliant avec les monuments médievaux du Caire ("Plan of mediaeval monuments of Cairo), lequel plan contitue une sorte de guide précis pour le promeneur ou le touriste.
