Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, little worn but a bit sunned along inside and exterior edges, protected by a plastic coat that is a bit creased. Forty-two pp. of text, then an unnpaginated Epilogue of sorts.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Has some dust spotting along the edge of the cloth covers. Inside is clean, tight & unmarked. In Good only dj that is curling along the edges, has several shallow edge tears and has the lamination peeling.

Inscribed by Duncan to Gordon and Gene Parks on the front free endpaper: "26 August '73 / New York / For / Gordon and Gene- / Bless you both! / Dave." Gordon Parks (1912-2006) is best known as the first African-American to produce and direct major motion pictures, including the classic film "Shaft." He is also famed for his documentary photojournalism, especially his photos related to African-American life in the 1950s and '60s and the civil rights movement.
