Zustand: Used - Very Good. 1823. Full vellum with leather title lables (gilt-stamped). Marbled endpapers. All edges marbled. Five volumes, comprising the Greek text of Polybius' HIstory, with Casaubon's Latin translation printed below that text. Also includes an extensive index. The fifth volume is titled Lexicon Polybianum, and comprises an extensive glossary in Latin of the greek terms in the History. Vellum has mild age-toning and is a little bowed as expected. Interior very well preserved overall, with minor foxing to initial and final leaves and in the margins of the text. A very good set overall.
