Draft script for a thematically related evening of three one-act plays, ultimately titled "Passing Through from Exotic Places," but here under its original title, "The Inheritors," Copy belonging to actress Tresa Hughes, with her annotations throughout, indicating that, initially at least, she had roles in all three of the one-act plays, which were titled "The Son Who Hunted Tigers in Jakarta," "Sunstroke," and "The Burial of Esposito." The play opened off-Broadway at Sheridan Square Playhouse December 7, 1969 and ran for 25 performances, closing on December 28. It was reviewed with mention of Ms. Hughes' performance in the December 20, 1969 issue of "The New Yorker." Hughes was nominated for a Tony award for Best Actress for her role in the 1961 production of "The Devil's Advocate."
