Interior front hinge has an unattractive hinge crack rear hinge just is a very thin crack starting. Binding of interior pages is good and tight. Frontispiece tissue guard is still present with no issues. Pages are toned due to age and very minor scattered spotting and foxing is present. Book would grade much higher if was not for the issue with the front hinge which looks bad because of the dark gray end pages. Title page states 67th edition, revised. Page 234 has a small corner missing from the bottom outside edge. The very last text page (235) contains the bookplate of John Wanamaker, who was an American merchant and religious, civic and political figure. He was also the postmaster general under President Benjamin Harrison. The bookplate is pasted in along the top and bottom edges and reads " Toile de Flandre - Specially made for John Wanamaker, Philadelphia New York" and has the hand written numbers 150 264 26x26 along the bottom edge. A rather odd place for a bookplate but it may be able to be removed since it's only pasted in along the top and bottom edges.…
