Zustand: Good. 1928. First Edition. 84 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over beige paper covered boards with green cloth spine. Rough cut edges to textblock. Black and white tipped-in photographs. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some moderate sunning and tanning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with tears, chips, and some areas of loss. Noticeable rubbing and marking.

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. x, 86pp, numerous black and white photographs tipped-in. Quarter bound in green cloth under natural paper-covered boards; black titles on pasted spine label; fore and bottom text block edges untrimmed, map front endpapers. 12mo. Sun-faded, lightly rubbed corners and spine ends. Top text block edge dust damaged, remaining edges tanning. Rear free endpapers starting to tan; some foxing to prelims. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring some occasional foxing.

First Edition. Very good copy in the original paper-labeled cloth over paper-covered boards. Spine bands and panel edges somewhat dulled and rubbed as with age. Remains quite well-preserved overall. With trade ticket on front paste-down and spare printed label tipped-in at rear. A delightful account in prose and verse as the author follows the Way from Winchester to Canterbury. Scarce in this condition.
