Buch Erstausgabe
Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First edition published by Collins in 1962. This is a near fine copy. The wrapper has a small chip to the top right hand corner of of the front panel. It is price clipped and there are a small handful of spots to the back panel. Otherwise it is in a clean and crisp condition. The wrapper is a better example than is usually found for this title. The book, in blue cloth is excellent with no foxing, browning or ink. It is a superb copy. Juster's fantasy tale about a boy called Milo and his journey through a magic tollbooth. It has already been adapted to the big screen but the film made in 1970 was widely panned. A remake has been long mooted and kicked about by Warner Bros. The book has over 100 wonderful illustrations by Jules Feiffer and is rare with these attributes. .

Erstausgabe Signiert
First edition of this modern classic. Octavo, original blue cloth, cartographic endpapers, illustrated by Jules Feiffer. Boldly signed by Norton Juster on the title page. Fine in a very good dust jacket. Housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box made by the Harcourt Bindery. Rare and desirable in this condition and signed. "This book has been described by Naomi Lewis as the best original modern book in the Carroll line " (Carpenter & Prichard, 409). Anyone with an appreciation for the language and irony of Alice in Wonderland will consider this witty adventure a classic. The novel begins with a miserably bored lad who exclaims that "there is nothing for me to do, nowhere I'd care to go, and hardly anything worth seeing." Suddenly a tollbooth appears in his room, and, having no other interests, the lad Milo drives through it and sets off in his toy car for a mythic journey.
