Er korrespondierte u.a. mit Galilei, Rubens und Francis Bacon und schenkte Athanasius Kircher Teile seiner ägyptischen Sammlung, die den Grundstein des Museum Kircherianum in Rom bilden. - Mit schmalem Rändchen um die Plattenkante, an der Stirne nicht störende beriebene Stellen.
