First Edition. Good copy only in contemporary full leather-covered boards, with a later spine cover over raised bands. Boards heavily worn, with minor to moderate surface loss at the corners. Preliminary and final leaves slightly shaken and edgeworn; the core text block remains surprisingly tightly bound. Legible throughout, with some scattered marginal damp-staining and dust-dulling.
