A large festive Chinese Cultural Revolution papercut on red paper with paper backing. The papercut shows a broad cross-section of people (workers, peasants, soldiers and children) all gathered together to celebrate, many are holding in their upstretched arms a copy of Mao's quotations. A small head and collar portrait of Mao is featured on the red flags in the upper section. Balloons, banners, flowers, flags and musical instruments are illustrated to add to the festival spirit. Few small creases. Very good. Text in Chinese. Sheet measures 50.1 x 70.5cm. Text on balloons read "Long Live Chairman Mao/ Long Live the Communist Party of China".
