A selection of page specimens from books that were composed by a Monotype system. English commercial presses represented here include Macmillan, William Collins, Eyre & Spottiswoode, Methuen, and William Heinemann. A very good, well-preserved copy overall, with some faint uneven toning on the covers and light foxing on title page; interior otherwise fine.

A good copy, in a worn jacket with a few short tears to corners, chipping to spine ends. The second volume of examples of pages from books printed using the 'Monotype' system, the first having been published in 1927.
