There are some handling bends to the corners of the folder, but otherwise the contents are clean, sharp, and crisp condition. Release 1: General release about the opening in Houston on February 27, 1971. Release 2: Details about the founding and mission of the Institute of Religion and Human Development, who owned and operated the Chapel at the time of its opening. Releases 3/4: Brief biographies of Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman, who both died the previous year. Release 5: Biographies of Howard Barnstone and Eugene Aubry, credited as the architects (Philip Johnson having pulled out of the project several years earlier). Release 6: Background on John and Dominique de Menil, sponsors of the project. Book.
