Page 13 is a retelling… of the Samson and Delilah story with Samson portrayed as a pugilist who refuses to fight, except for his country. This had an interesting parallel with Tunney's life. Tunney quit the ring in response to an ultimatum issued by his heiress fiancé, his only belligerent activities thereafter were as an officer in the Navy during WWII.
