Contains (1) An Olde Almanack in the forme of a booke of reference for this present year of grace, 1883, printed in gothic script, compiled by Charles Letts and published by Charles Letts and Co in 1883. 28pp, with wood cut illustrations on almost every page (a couple of mild marks, small library stamp on title page. (2) Calendar for the present year of grace, 1880, compiled by George Falkner, from Chronicles imprinted during the time elapsing between the coronation of Charles I and the date when the calendar was changed in 1752. 10pp. Slightly toned. (3) Ephemerides, Or the Dayes of the Year 1883 - An Auntiente Annualle, compiled by Edward Walford. 40pp. Printed in the style of the early part of the 16th century (some of the borders, for instance are facsimiles of Holbein's designs used in Erasmus's Greek Testament of 1519). In later brown cloth boards (rubbed at edges, scuffed at corners, marked and sunned to spine but strong and effective). Some spotting. Endpapers cracked at gutter. c 11 inches tall.
