Statement on the death of Featherstone and Payne, who were killed in a car bombing in Bel Air, Maryland. Featherstone was a manager of the Drum and Spear, an African-American bookstore in Washington, DC. The broadside states that the target was intended to be H. Rap Brown, shortly before his trial on charges of arson and incitement to riot, who the men seemed to be going to meet. The police claimed the men were carrying the bomb that exploded.
