Winnecke and included Professor Baldwin Spencer whom he mentions (p.59). Includes large chapter on Australia (pp.49-147) with many photographs of Aborigines, camels, Ayres Rock, etc. Uncommon.

Sir Edward Charles Stirling (1848-1919), eminent SA surgeon, scientist and politician, was medical officer and anthropologist with the Horn Expedition.
