Previous owner's initials to front cover. Spine lightly creased. Covers show some signs of wear. Bottom corner of fore edge of front cover lightly creased. Back cover lightly creased. Covers lightly tanned and lightly soiled. Small, superficial area of loss to top edge of front cover. Overall, the book is in a good condition.

Zustand: Acceptable. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact (dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text. A good condition vintage booklet. Notable rubbing and little tears to the covers and spine edges, and general mild dusty marks and thumbing to the page edges. The rer map has a tear in it but remains intact. The rest of the fold-outs are uncreased and fairly tidy. The contents show a typical amount of tanning and handling but also remain clean and with a fair binding. The staples show some rust to the covers but are still firm. A reading and reference copy only, and decent for it's age past it's slightly dog-eared exterior.

Beige paperwraps with black title to front. Staple binding. Many fold-out maps and related charts. 95 numbered pages. Covers a little grubby and stained. 'Sold by' ink stamp to top of front cover and title page. Text block browned. Contents generally clean and fold-outs in good condition (no tears). Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

It had appeared first eleven years before, under the title Manual of Map Reading, Photo Reading and Field Sketching. The introduction states that 'these notes will be used in connection with examinations for certificates of education' (p. 3).
