Contents very nice. DUSTWRAPPER: Not price clipped (9s), faint foxing all over, 5 mm (¼") missing at head of spine, 10 mm (½") chip to top edge of upper panel next to spine, several small closed edge tears, corners slightly chipped, lower panel marked slightly on image by light through cellophane wrapper. A very good copy in very good DUSTWRAPPER. In his first Preliminary Hand-List of Ardizzone's books Brian Alderson dated this work (1947), but he has revised this to (1948) in his recent full length Bibliography, pages 54 and 59, No.23.1.
