There are numerous "Tours" laid out for the intrepid motor tourist, as was standard with this excellent series. Of the 80 or so photographs, about a half dozen are credited to the Farm Security Administration, but unfortunately the individual photographers are not identified; the most frequently-credited photographers are Richard W. Hufnagle and Dwight Kirsch. Chronology, bibliography, index. This is the second printing of this guide, issued eight years after the first (and from a different publisher; the 1939 edition was published by the Viking Press), but there is no indication that any revisions had been made to its content.
