A chronicle of the events of August 1980 in Poland, showing the strike in the Gdansk shipyards and the negotiations between the Inter-plant Strike Committee and the Government Committee. The film was banned in his country. In 1970, the repression of the shipyard strike ended in the deaths of 80 workers.
