This new rational spline has been used for monotonicity preserving interpolation. The sufficient condition for the monotonicity is derived and all the three parameters can be further utilized to obtain the desired interpolating curves. Furthermore error analysis also has been given in details. Comparison with some existing schemes also have been done.
