A lovely work of shooting history from the mid-nineteenth century, offering a comprehensive look into the art of shooting for the Victorian sportsman. Rather rare and sought after. Rebacked with the original backstrip preserved. Externally lightly bumped to the extremities. Fading to the spine. Small amount of loss to the front and rear pastedowns towards the hinges, most likely due to rebacking. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally clean with light age toning to the extremities of numerous pages, alongside the odd spot. Tidemark to the reverse of the frontispiece. Very Good. book.
