He lived in the rectory from May 1937 to May 1938, and recorded his experiences in what is known as the most haunted house in England. Light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A few spots to the fore edge. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Dust wrapper is edge worn with chips to the head and tail of the spine and wraps, with tape repairs to both side of the wraps. A couple of smaller chips to the folds, and closed tears repaired by tape. Minor marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed. book.
