(Blattgröße: 27 x 36 cm). *Albert Krüger (1858- nach 1910) schuf hauptsächlich Graphiken nach Gemälden großer Künstler, also sogenannte Reproduktionsgraphik, jedoch entwickelte er einen eigenständigen Stil und Techniken, die zu eindrucksvollen und ausdrucksstarken Ergebnissen führten. - Originalgraphik aus der Zeitschrift PAN (das wichtigste Organ des Jugendstils in Deutschland), erschienen 1895 bis 1900 in einer Auflage von 1200 bis 1600 Exemplaren. Breitrandiger nuanchenreicher Druck mit Facette. - Fritz Zalisz war ein deutscher Maler, Grafiker, Bildhauer und Dichter aus dem Umfeld der Leipziger Expressionisten und zählt zur Verschollenen Generation. Zunächst studierte er Zoologie welchselte dann an die Akademie in München, wo er bei dem Bildhauer Adolf von Hildebrandt studierte. Nach einer Unterbrechung durch die Kriegszeit setzte Zalisz sein Kunststudium 1918 an der Akademie für Grafik und Buchgewerbe in Leipzig fort. Seine Lehrer waren Otto Richard Bossert, Alois Kolb und Adolf Lehnert. Nach Studienaufenthalten, unter anderem in Berlin, war er als freischaffender Künstler in Leipzig tätig. Während der Nazi-Aktion `Entartete Kunst` wurden Werke von Zalisz beschlagnahmt und zerstört. Im Jahr 1940 zog Zalisz nach Leipzig-Holzhausen.
