Broadside map, 36 1/2 x 48 1/2 inches, folded to 4to, showing Vicksburg's street plan with schools, churches, and other prominent buildings marked, along with railway lines, cemeteries, bayous, etc. Some plats are shown with owner's or business names. Not recorded on OCLC (which does locate similar maps, issued by the same publi…sher, for Fort Wayne, Indiana, Charleston, South Carolina, Birmingham, Alabama, Dallas, Texas, and Memphis, Tennessee, each in a single copy). One tear into cartouche, long separation along one fold, several small breaks at corner folds, some old light staining on verso, a good example of a rare Vicksburg plat map. (#7626).
