A good copy, very crisp internally, of the third issue of Keidrych Rhys' important literary journal. The first printing of this seven-page Dylan Thoma…s story, which was subsequently included in his 1939 collection of the same name. His poem 'We Lying by Seasand' was also included in the same collection, but had been previously printed in the American periodical 'Poetry' in January 1937. Other contributors to this issue include Idris Davies (his poem 'William Morris' and his prose piece 'Shadows and Cakes'), Vernon Watkins (his poem 'Yeat's Tower'), Glyn Jones, Rhys Davies, John Prichard, and the editor. The author's uncommon third book, containing sixteen poems and seven stories (his first prose work in bookform). 2,000 sets of sheets were printed, 1,000 of which comprise this first state.
